  1. Dr. Rachael I have 2 daughters and 1 son. I started talking to them before kindergarten because I knew that there may be kids that were more exposed and I didnโ€™t want them to be caught off guard or not understand. We have always had an open dialogue no subject was off limits and we were always open including myself. My daughters are age 20 and 26 now and they have always asked questions and are still virgins. My son is 14 no problems with him either he still ask questions but is in no way interested in currently having sex. Open dialogue is very important! I wasnโ€™t afraid to share or say anything and I answered every question honestly. They said that I may have been a little too honest at times.๐Ÿ˜‚

    1. Trinette Netty Jimison As a Positive Parenting instructor we discussed this topic just yesterday in my classroom.

Thanks to Dr. Rachel for covering this subject.

I was open with reproductive health, proper terminology, and the types of relationships with my 4 girls and 1 boy as well. I was also very open about our family values.

It worked being honest. My youngest is a male, 21 years old and is proud to say hes still a virgin after listening to the complicated lives of the other men his age during their casual conversations at the gaming rooms.
